 The U.S. Department of Transportation today announced the Allen Parish Airport in Oakdale would receive a grant totaling $454,087. The grant will provide federal funding for airport improvements including projects to rehabilitate 5,000 feet of runway, 5,800 feet of existing parallel taxiway and 8,000 square yards of existing terminal apron to maintain the structural integrity of the pavement.

Rep. Johnson released the following statement:

“Maintaining infrastructure throughout our state is of paramount importance. Federal investment continues to pour into Louisiana, and I will remain steadfast in advocating for funding that grows our economy and builds our communities.”
