The Biden Administration deliberately opened the border, and the results were catastrophic.
Every state became a border state as millions of illegal aliens poured across our border. Hundreds from the terrorist watch list were encountered at our southern border, and an untold number of known gotaways escaped into our country. By 2024, there were over 660,000 noncitizens with criminal histories in our country. Local communities – many of which lacked the resources, social services, and manpower to take on thousands of illegal aliens – were stretched to their breaking points.
Despite possessing the executive authority to end the crisis, President Biden refused to secure the border and remove these dangerous aliens.
In a matter of weeks, President Trump did what Joe Biden refused to do: he restored commonsense immigration policies and empowered law enforcement to do their job.

At the same time, public trust in the federal government is near an all-time low, and many government agencies have benefited from this explosion in government while failing to adequately address the needs of the very people they purport to serve.
