PRESIDENTIAL INAUGURATION TICKETS
The 60th Presidential Inauguration will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025, in Washington, D.C at noon. The ceremony will be held on the west front of the U.S. Capitol. The Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies (JCCIC) is responsible for planning and carrying out the ceremony. Each member of Congress will receive a limited allotment of tickets to share with guests. The office of Speaker Mike Johnson will disburse our allotment of tickets to constituents through a lottery based on requests received. Only constituents of Louisiana's 4th Congressional District may request tickets.

Please read the information below:
- Tickets must be picked up in Washington, D.C. prior to Inauguration Day. Tickets will not be mailed.
- Recipients must provide identification showing they are the name of the person who requested the tickets.
*Please note that tickets are solely for attending the Presidential and Vice-Presidential Swearing-In Ceremonies. This does not include access to any of the inaugural balls or other ancillary events. Tickets to the inaugural balls are provided through the Presidential Inaugural Committee in consultation with the President-Elect. Speaker Johnson’s office also does not receive seated tickets to the Inaugural Parade following the swearing-in. However, tickets to observe the Inaugural Parade route on-foot are not required.
PLEASE NOTE: AS OF DECEMBER 2, 2024, THE OFFICE OF SPEAKER MIKE JOHNSON WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTING TICKET REQUESTS.
PARADES & BALLS
The Presidential Inaugural Committee organizes the Inaugural Parade, and groups interested in participating will find information and may apply at https://inauguralparade.smapply.ne.

Speaker Johnson's office does not provide any tickets and is not affiliated with any organization's inaugural ball. For more information on inaugural balls, you may contact each individual organization.
TRANSPORTATION
On Monday, January 20, the Washington, D.C. Metrorail will begin operations at 4:00 A.M. Public screening gates at the Inauguration will open at 5:00 A.M.
