Mike Johnson on Mueller findings: Dems will drag this out again

KEEL 101.7 & 710 AM

United States Congressman Mike Johnson from Louisiana's 4th Congressional District talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about the Mueller Report released last Friday.

The report, which ended an investigation of more than two years, found that there was no collusion between President Donald Trump or the Trump campaign and the Russian government.

Johnson tells KEEL listeners that, despite the investigation's findings, he expect more Democrat investigations of the President, the next ones originating from Dems in the House of Representatives.

"The answer is very simple," says the Congressman, "Mueller spent $25 million taxpayer dollars, utilized 40 FBI personnel, 2800 subpoenas, 500 search warrants, 230 orders of communication, 500 witness interviews. All of that and they came to the conclusion that there was no collusion."

And Johnson adds that, despite the Mueller findings, investigations will continue. "It's so sad and shocking," he says, "Now the Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, (NY Dem) Jerrold Nadler, wants to go on this tirade. They're going to drag this thing out again."
