Speaker of the House Mike Johnson believes we are in a moment of crisis

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson came to town to swear in Bossier Parish Sheriff Julian Whittington.

While in town, he spoke to members of the media on important topics.

He spoke about the presidential debate and what's going on in Washington, D.C. He also spoke about Louisiana politics, like State Representative Dodie Horton's Ten Commandments Bill. Finally, he mentioned the 25th Amendment and even said he believes we are in a moment of crisis.

"After the debate last week, I take no pleasure in saying it, but everyone recognizes we're at a moment of crisis. This is a dangerous situation to have a commander-in-chief, a president of the United States, who is not seen to be fit for the office and is not up to the challenge. We're in a dangerous moment; our adversaries are arrayed against us. China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea have formed a new axis of evil, and we cannot afford to project weakness on the world stage, and I am sad to say that that's what President Biden is doing right now," said Mike Johnson, Speaker of the House.

Even with the critical situations that the speaker mentioned here, he still believes that the country can get back on track, and he plans to hit the ground running when he gets back to Capitol Hill.
