Mike Johnson thanks 50 Cent for investing in Shreveport

WASHINGTON, D.C. (KTAL/KMSS) – 50 Cent and Mike Johnson met Wednesday while the entertainment mogul was in D.C. for meetings with congressional leaders.

The two had an introductory meeting where the Speaker thanked him for investing in Shreveport and taking an interest in the community.

Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson has been busy this year with his many business ventures, including plans to revive Shreveport’s entertainment industry with his long-awaited G-Unit Studios.

Jackson is also the founder of the Sire Spirits brand, which is the reason for his visit to D.C.

“I’m off to DC to talk to the Congressional Black Caucus about how @suntoryglobalspirits has damaged my business,” wrote Jackson in an Instagram post.

50 Cent will be back in Shreveport later this summer for his Humor and Harmony weekend, where he intends to bring entertainers to Shreveport for a weekend of celebration for the city and G-Unit Studios.
