WASHINGTON — Speaker Johnson released the following statement after the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic released its final report titled “After Action Review of the COVID-19 Pandemic: The Lessons Learned and a Path Forward.” The final report includes findings from the entire select committee investigation from the last two years from COVID origins to the government’s response to the pandemic. “The COVID Select Subcommittee’s report has delivered a careful evaluation of our nation’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The crisis exposed serious failures in leadership, and this report is a step in the right direction to rebuild trust and guarantee America is better prepared for future events.
