U.S. Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) and U.S. Rep. Mike Johnson (R-LA-4) this morning visited CSRA’s Integrated Technology Center (ITC) in Bossier City. CSRA’s ITC facility opened in Bossier City in November 2016. CSRA has hired over 600 employees in Northern Louisiana. “CSRA plays an important role in helping the federal government fight cyber terrorism. The opening of CSRA's Integrated Technology Center will bring nearly a thousand jobs to Shreveport-Bossier City by mid-2018,” said Senator John Kennedy. “I was excited to visit CSRA and meet those already on the job working as a partner to the federal government.” "One of my top priorities is ensuring hardworking Louisianans can obtain good-paying jobs,” said Congressman Mike Johnson. “We are very proud of the work CSRA is doing, the jobs they have brought to the region, and the contributions they are making to our community. Bossier and the surrounding areas in Northwest Louisiana are growing, and we are making every effort to continue that trend.” “The Bossier Chamber of Commerce is excited to work with our community partners, CSRA ITC and our regional chambers to host Senator John F Kennedy and Congressman Mike Johnson for a business briefing on National issues,” said Lisa Johnson, President of the Bossier Chamber of Commerce. “We are honored to showcase the CSRA ITC to our federal leaders.” CSRA’s ITC facility is a state-of-the-art campus that delivers innovative, next-gen, cost-effective solutions to solve the most difficult technology challenges for over 65 federal government customers. Senator Kennedy toured CSRA’s ITC and Congressman Johnson later joined him to host a Regional Chamber of Commerce meeting at the facility this morning. The Chamber meeting included members of the Bossier Chamber, Greater Shreveport Chamber, Shreveport-Bossier City African-American Chamber, and the Minden South Webster Chamber. |
