Congressman Mike Johnson hosted a town hall today in Evangeline Parish the last of his initiative to give the public a chance to voice their concerns. 

Johnson was taking on his 19 and final town hall this year, tackling a campaign promise he made to his constituents. Those who attended were able to voice their concerns and give Johnson the chance to respond and take those concerns back to Washington.

 He says holding these events is critical to what he and his staff do. The town hall was free an open to the public.  

Covering topics like tax and health care reform, along with job growth and the economy.

On Wednesday, Johnson was part of the founding a new caucus to help change the tone and level of civility in the capital and the country going forward.
