 Rep. Mike Johnson (LA-04) issued the following statement on a revocation notice by the U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) benefiting Louisiana companies and workers in the oil and gas industry:

“This decision by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection is a great step in the right direction to roll back many of the job-killing regulations that the Obama administration issued. This will benefit Louisiana in a number of significant ways. It will help our shipbuilders, our U.S. flag vessel operators and our mariners, while growing our economy and supporting further oil and gas development in the Gulf of Mexico.”
