Rep. Johnson, Staff Hold 85+ Meetings, Open Two Offices in First District Work Week

In his first district work week as a congressman, Rep. Mike Johnson (LA-04) and his staff traveled Louisiana's Fourth Congressional District holding more than 85 meetings with constituents, local elected officials and business leaders. Included in these meetings were trips to both Fort Polk and Barksdale Air Force Base, where the congressman was briefed on current issues facing our armed forces and the most pressing threats to our national security.

In addition to Rep. Johnson's office in Bossier City, he also reopened the field office in Leesville and added a new office in Natchitoches.

Rep. Mike Johnson released the following statement:

"I was elected to represent the good people of Louisiana's Fourth Congressional District, and I will work every day to serve their needs. Investing time in the district and listening to our constituents is a very important part of my job. Our people deserve congressional offices that are accessible.

"I am excited to announce the opening of our second and third offices in the district. These centers will be critical in our outreach efforts as well as in assistance for those struggling with federal agencies. I look forward to keeping an open line of communication with our constituents at all times, through case work, telephone town halls, personal meetings in D.C. and throughout the district, and our regular newsletters and communications. I am proud of the work we did during this district work period and am ready to lead and advocate for the Fourth District in Washington."
