 The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced four grants are being awarded to first responder agencies in Louisiana’s Fourth Congressional District through the Fiscal Year 2017 Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program. These include the Allen Parish Fire Protection District 4 ($210,477), the Webster Parish Fire Protection District 8 ($122,858), the St. Landry Fire Protection District 7 ($100,096) and the Arcadia Volunteer Fire Department ($281,858).

Rep. Mike Johnson (LA-04) released the following statement:

"There is no way we can adequately thank our firefighters for the dangerous job they do to ensure our communities remain safe. We can, however, provide them with the resources they need to do that job safely. I am proud to announce four well-deserved grants to our firefighters in Allen, Webster, St. Landry and Bienville Parishes.”
