Shreveport Awarded More than $54,000 Grant to Improve Coordination between Health Care Providers and Transit Agencies

 The U.S. Department of Transportation announced the city of Shreveport will receive $54,472 to develop a mobile application and web portal in order to increase system efficiency and scheduling between health care providers and transit agencies.

U.S. REPRESENTATIVE MIKE JOHNSON (LA-04) RELEASED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT:

"Guaranteeing safe and efficient transit for all Shreveport citizens is vital for maintaining productivity and reliability within the community. This funding will allow the city to innovate and expand its current system to give people the best travel experience possible.
