Shreveport Awarded More than $54,000 Grant to Improve Coordination between Health Care Providers and Transit Agencies

 The U.S. Department of Transportation announced the city of Shreveport will receive $54,472 to develop a mobile application and web portal in order to increase system efficiency and scheduling between health care providers and transit agencies.

U.S. REPRESENTATIVE MIKE JOHNSON (LA-04) RELEASED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT:

This funding will allow the city to innovate and expand its current system to give people the best travel experience possible.
