Louisiana’s Fourth District to Receive Nearly $1 Million in Aviation Grants

 The U.S. Department of Transportation announced four grants will be awarded to the cities of Leesville and Minden and Allen and Beauregard Parishes for airport improvements and updates.

CITY OF LEESVILLE

Who: Leesville Airport

Total Grant Amount: $52,000

For: Runway safety area improvements

CITY OF MINDEN

Who: Minden Airport

Total Grant Amount: $108,000

For: Runway rehabilitation

ALLEN PARISH

Who: Allen Parish Airport

Total Grant Amount: $202,500

For: Airport master plan study updates

BEAUREGARD PARISH

Who: Beauregard Regional Airport

Total Grant Amount: $600,000

For: Apron rehabilitation

U.S. REPRESENTATIVE MIKE JOHNSON (LA-04) RELEASED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT:
