Caddo Parish Awarded $235k for First-Responder Organizations

 On Monday, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced Caddo Parish Fire District #1 will be awarded $235,876.19 through the Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Program. Each year, the program awards grants to first-responder organizations for emergency response equipment, personal protective equipment, firefighting and emergency vehicles, and training.
