On Friday, the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) announced the Shreveport Downtown Airport will receive $100,692 for runway rehabilitation.
U.S. REPRESENTATIVE MIKE JOHNSON (LA-04) RELEASED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT:
“Our Shreveport airports are economic generators for Northwest Louisiana and the surrounding region. They facilitate jobs, revenue and quick access to and from the greatest state in the country. But for success and progress to continue, we must ensure our airport facilities remain functional and up-to-date. We are grateful for DOT’s investment into our community and look forward to seeing how these small improvements will unlock rapid growth for Shreveport and Louisiana’s Fourth Congressional District.”
