U.S. Representative Mike Johnson (LA-04), a member of the House Judiciary Committee, today applauded the Justice Department’s decision to award a $2.4 million grant to the Louisiana State Police to be used for drug-enforcement activities. “I’m grateful for the Trump administration’s decision to support the Louisiana State Police in the ongoing fight to keep heroin, opioids and other dangerous drugs off our streets,” said Johnson. “These much-needed funds will go a long way toward ensuring our officers have the resources they need to effectively do their jobs and keep our communities safe.” |
