Johnson Announces $7.8 Million Grant to Louisiana for Coronavirus Response

U.S. Representative Mike Johnson (LA-04) today announced the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is awarding $7,805,064.60 to Louisiana to combat the coronavirus. This funding comes as a result of the $8 billion emergency funding package passed by Congress last week. Johnson voted in favor of the bill.

“My top priority is ensuring our health care providers have the resources they need to keep Louisianians safe and healthy,” said Johnson. “I’m grateful Congress was able to come together to pass this important measure, and I will continue working to support our state and local partners who are on the front lines of this coronavirus response.”
