Johnson Announces over $2 Million to Improve Water Systems in St. Landry & Natchitoches Parish

BOSSIER, La. – U.S. Representative Mike Johnson (LA-04) today announced the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has awarded over two million dollars in federal grants to improve water systems in St. Landry and Natchitoches Parish. The rural development grants will be used to update and replace water storage tanks and water lines in the two parishes. The water systems were awarded the following:
“Ensuring all Louisianians have access to high quality water requires vigilance in maintaining our water treatment facilities, tanks and lines. This funding will go a long way in that effort, particularly for our rural areas, and I thank Secretary Perdue for awarding this funding to our district,” said Johnson. |
