BOSSIER, La. – U.S. Representative Mike Johnson (LA-04) today announced that Union Parish is receiving over $12,000 from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to help provide safe and sanitary housing for low-income families, the elderly, and the disabled.

“As our communities continue to battle the effects of the pandemic, it’s important that we ensure our public housing is safe for all residents,” said Johnson. “When Congress passed the CARES Act, we made sanitary housing a priority, and I’m pleased to see that this funding continues to flow to our district to make that possible.”
