WASHINGTON, February 25, 2021 — United States Representative Mike Johnson (LA-04) honored the memory of his friend the late Rep.-elect Luke Letlow during remarks delivered Tuesday evening on the floor of the House of Representatives.

“Luke was known in Louisiana for having a servant's heart,” Johnson said. “He had a peaceful nature about him. When he talked to a constituent or a friend or anyone, he made them feel as if they were the most important person in the world. He was one of those guys who was a great statesman and would have left a big mark here.”

Congressman Johnson led the Louisiana Congressional Delegation and other colleagues in a series of floor speeches dedicated to Letlow’s memory on Tuesday evening.
