Johnson Statement on the Passing of Governor Buddy Roemer

BOSSIER, La., May 17, 2021 — United States Representative Mike Johnson (LA-04) today released the following statement upon the passing of former Louisiana Governor, Buddy Roemer:
"Kelly and I are saddened by the news of Governor Roemer’s passing. He was a unique political force in north Louisiana and around the state for much of our youth, and he made a real impact. Our prayers go out to the Roemer family and friends at this difficult time."
